Works closely with PR Manager to create and maintain an engaging content for the company's presence – including  social media, web, cars, dress code, signs  etc, including keeping channels updated and brand-focused, and seeking out new avenues and ways of connecting with audiences and communicating the company’s products and philosophy.

Communications Assistant Job Duties

  • Develop social media content plans that are consistent with the company’s brand identity by managing social media channels, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, other relevant platforms plus updating and keep updated company’s website.
  • Engage in social media presence creation on new and emerging social media platforms
  • Create dynamic written, graphic, and video content, presentations and reports
  • Optimize content following search engine optimization (SEO) and pay-per-click (PPC)
  • Create content that promotes audience interaction, increases audience presence on company sites, and encourages audience participation
  • Assist management and participate in organizing large projects, events, media campaigns
  • Analyze and report audience information and demographics, and success of existing social media projects
  • Propose new ideas and concepts for social media content
  • Writes and distributes e-newsletters to subscribers
  • Managing a high volume of daily social media posts
  • Communicating with social media followers, including responding to queries in a timely manner.
  • Using analytical tools such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite Pro, and Facebook Insights to monitor and evaluate the company’s social media presence and performance
  • Preparing monthly reports on social media marketing efforts.
  • Suggesting recommendations to adjust the social media marketing strategy for optimal results.
  • Staying up to date on best practices and emerging trends in social media.
  • Editing and writing company materials, (e.g. press releases, publications, social media posts)
  • Update databases and media lists

Communications Assistant Skills and Qualifications:


  • BSc/BA in Marketing, Communications or a related field is desired
  • Experience using various analytics software SEO and PPC,
  • Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with design software (e.g. Photoshop, InDesign) and content management systems is a plus
  • Proficient in Greek and English (oral and written)


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and must have a thorough understanding of social media management and strategy
  • Mullti-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Solid editing and researching skills
  • Excellent communication abilities (oral and written)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Organizational skills
  • Enthusiasm, Detail-Oriented, Collaboration
